ABOUT EMME STANEC
Emme Stanec recently graduated from Scripps College in Claremont, California in May of 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in media studies, with an emphasis on video production, and a Bachelor of Arts in French. Besides filmmaking, Emme's other passions include sports, especially hockey and the Colorado Avalanche, travel, beauty, and social media. Emme first found her love of video production when she was 13-years-old. At that time she wanted to be a makeup artist, so she started a YouTube channel. Through the making of her makeup videos, she found a new passion: videography. In the Spring of 2017, she took an advanced video production class at Scripps College and learned how to use Adobe Premiere Pro. Since then, Emme has interned at Colorado College for the summers of 2017 and 2018, making videos for the communications department. She now has significant experience in video production, including the use of DSLR cameras and C100 cameras, many types of microphones for sound recording, lighting, and lighting reflectors, and editing using Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
Emme hopes to pursue her love of video production as a career and expand her knowledge and skills of the media.
