S&L St. Patrick's Day TikTok

I created this TikTok for Sparkles and Lace Boutique In March 2021. I filmed, edited, and posted the video. I used a trending sound and trending, but relevant, hashtags. I then posted this TikTok on the boutique’s Instagram as a reel. Within two hours of posting the reel, it had generated the highest number of views on a reel for the boutique. It had over 1,500 views, while the previous average number of views on the boutique’s reels was 430 views.

S&L Life Hack TikTok

I created this TikTok for Sparkles and Lace Boutique In March 2021. I filmed, edited, and posted the video. Using a trending sound and trending, but relevant, hashtags, I was able to have this TikTok have the highest views on their account, with over 2,000 in five days. The average number of views on their TikToks was 356 views.

The goal of this TikTok was to increase the number of customers who recycle their bags at the boutique, thus bringing in more customers. In the first five days of the TikTok being posted, the number of customers who recycled their bags at the boutique doubled.

Facebook Event Campaign

For a project in my Asian Americans in Media class in college, my group of four students (including me) had to promote the event the class was putting on.

We created a Facebook event, as we knew that our audience (students at the Claremont Colleges) mainly used Facebook to find out about events on campus. We used this graphic that we made for the event picture, but also for the image we used on posters to put up around campus.

In the Facebook event, we posted every day for the 10 days leading up to the screening. Our posts consisted of the title of one of the short films that would be shown, as well as a short, but enticing description of the film.

As a result of my group's promotion of the event, we had over 100 people attend. Our original goal was for 100 attendees, so we were successful. We also received a grade of an A on the project and praises from the professor.
